The history of the salami factory is closely linked to the place where the Peveri family settled to live at the end of the 19th century to devote themselves to agricultural activity: the splendid setting of Chiaravalle di Alseno, near the Chiaravalle della Colomba Abbey.

The company's activity, now managed by the siblings Federica and Remo, began with grandfather Remo who, thanks to the experience in the meat sector and its processing acquired in Milan as an apprentice at an old salami shop, laid the foundations to set up his own business in 1920 with the opening of a salami shop in Stradella del Pavese.
