Grappa di Brunello Riserva represents a bridge between past and present.
The 20 years of aging in oak barrels give depth and complexity to this creation, while our careful distillation process preserves the unique characteristics of the grapes it comes from. Each production phase, from the selection of the pomace to the aging, is carefully conducted personally by the Master Distiller Priscilla Occhipinti, to guarantee a result that embodies the soul of our distillery.
Distillation: artisanal, discontinuous method with steam boilers and low-degree discontinuous column; head and tail cut performed manually at each batch by the Master Distiller.
Raw Material: Fresh pomace softly pressed from Sangiovese Grosso, Brunello di Montalcino, distilled within 48 hours of racking.
Visual examination: The Grappa di Brunello Riserva presents itself with a deep amber hue, evidence of the long refinement conducted entirely in oak barrels.
Olfactory examination: At the first encounter you enjoy complex and enveloping notes. You can perceive hints of candied orange, leather, vanilla, toasted dried fruit and a subtle nuance of tobacco, reflecting the harmonious dialogue between the fruity element and the oak wood.
Taste examination: In the mouth it offers an enveloping and velvety impact. The aftertaste surprises with nuances of candied fruit and spices that enhance the palate, creating a refined balance between sweetness and complexity. Long and persistent finish.
