Villa di Corlo is famous for their Lambrusco which have been awarded many times, including Olimpia which obtained 2 Bicchiere from Gambero Rosso and which is a small production of only 6500 bottles/year.

Denomination : Lambrusco Grasparosso di Castelvetro PDO organic

Production area: loc. Casinalbo di Formigine (MO).

Vinification: in steel, with cold skin maceration for at least  7-8 days.

Aging: 1 month in bottle.

Color: ruby red with purplish froth

Nose: fruity notes of cherry and red fruit

Taste: soft and velvety

Accompaniment: first courses with meat sauce, lasagna, white meats, salami, and sour cherry tarts, sbrisolona cake.

Serving temperature: 8-10 °.
