This fig and almond jam (80% fruit) is produced with fresh fruit picked in the fields of our farm. On the day of harvesting, the figs are washed and the stalk and base removed with a knife to then be cut into pieces. Thanks to their natural sweetness, very little sugar is added during cooking, almonds which give crunchiness and lemon juice.
The result is a delicious and versatile product.
This extra jam is perfect to spread on bread for a healthy and energetic snack or breakfast or to use as an ingredient in sweet recipes, such as fig tarts, strudels, cakes or ice creams. It also goes very well with platters of seasoned and semi-seasoned cheeses.
