Pickled cucunci - Presidio Slow Food

Cucuncio is the fruit of the caper and is elongated pickle-like with a strong taste and is excellent to use as an appetizer, side dish and starter.

A product that is still little known and which has almost been forgotten. This totally manual and artisanal production and the rarity have allowed it to enter the Presidio Slow Food section, a guarantee of excellence.

Ingredients: Desalted cucunci, extra virgin olive oil, oregano, chili, vinegar

Our tip: once the Cucunci are eaten, use the rest of the oil to make a vinaigrette that smells like the sun.
