Grapes: Glera
Production area: Prosecco PDO area
Harvest period: mid-late September
View: pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections, visible until the spring of the year following the harvest, brilliant, very lively.
Nose: intense aromas with aromatic and fruity notes of apple, melon and a slight hint of peach, but also floral notes of rose and wildflowers.
Taste: slightly sweet, fresh, quite savory, soft and decidedly balanced, it firmly confirms what is perceived at a first olfactory contact with the product. Pleasant sensation left in the mouth, persistent, with a perception of freshness that leaves you satisfied.
Inserted in the "Yearbook of the best Italian wines" by Luca Maroni, RCS Libri.
Golden Nike at the Vittorio Veneto Wine Show included in the Prosecco Spring.
Pairings: Prosecco Tranquillo DOC goes well with light appetizers, such as savory sheets, but also fish; excellent pairing at the beginning of the meal with natural shrimps on a bed of rocket. However, the product offers good sensations even with first courses of low aromatic intensity, with vegetables or seafood. It is not recommended to combine it with red meats, but it can still be interesting to consume it together with grilled poultry without too many seasonings, with a thread of extra virgin olive oil. It is useless to reiterate its good affinity with many types of fish main courses, always with an unimportant spiciness and in which the basic product is enhanced, rather than the cooking seasoning.
