Salted capers Presidio Slow Food

Medium size salted Salina capers.

Product selected by the Presidio Slow Food, pledge of an authentic and rare product.

The capers are sorted according to their size and then salted, nothing more natural.

Before use, the capers must be absolutely desalted, that is to say placed in water at room temperature. The water should be approximately double the amount of product to be desalinated. The water should be changed often (at least 3/4 times) and the product should be tasted before using.

To prepare a sauce, a garnish, baked fish, etc. or as a garnish for a salad, although the larger size is also indicated.
